Steel: Aldo's 1095 at about 9/64 thick (0.140) Heat Treated to RC 58-60 by Peter's Heat Treat.
Full tang construction. The steel is .030 behind the edge and tapers to almost .090 behind the edge towards the tip. This knife is built to take some abuse.
The bevels are ground on a 36" radius platen.

Handle: Ironwood bolsters. Caramel linen micarta. Naval brass pins. Red g10 liners. Held together with West Systems Marine Epoxy. About a 600 grit hand rubbed finish.

Overall Length: 9.5"
Edge: just over 4"
Handle: Just under 5"

Edge: Hand con vexed with 4000/8000 grit waterstone. Shaving sharp.

Thanks Andy,

Of the 30 or so blades I ground in the last year, this is the only one done this way. I prefer thin slicers myself but Its nice to have something you can really beat on.
