Wicked Edge Sharpener Package

This is one of the early generation wicked edge system but has gone through a number of upgrades. It has the new arms with micro adjustments as well has the riser block. So basically, this is a WE120.

Additionally I added the arm/stone rest. This makes switching the stones a lot faster and helps keep the stones cleaner. It seems simple, and it is, but it makes the sharpening experience way better and more efficient.

It has sharpened probably under 10 knives in total, and I am selling it because I learned on free hand stones and I am just a little too stuck in my ways. Although, I do love the precision of the wicked edge system. It just can’t be beat.

I am also including the diamond stones: 100/200 400/600 and 800/1000. These stones have been used, but have a ton of life on them. They do have some water and light rust spots (noted in pictures) but the function is not affected whatsoever.

I am also including the 0.5 and 0.25micron stropping compounds that really get that edge up to a mirror polish.

Please note the scratch marks on the clamp. These are pretty normal and are a function of just using the sharpener. I have meant to paint them black up never got the chance because it never bothered me enough.

This is nearly a 600$ package

It also comes with the alignment guide, and the adjustment keys, and shipping is included in the price.

Asking $460 plus fees, shipping is included.

Then whats the price drop? This costs 485 new, you are missing a strop so I would certainly have to buy two of those additionally. In all fairness, I could do $300?

As is the lowest I'll do right now is 350 shipped.

I also have all the strops from 14 micron to 0.025 I think. As well as a 50/80, 1200/1600 and micro fine/ultra fine ceramic stone I'd also consider selling, if your interested in a complete package. If you interested we can probably work out a deal for that too.

I think I would be happy with the 5/3.5 micron strops. You've been careful not to cross contaminate grits into the leather? How much have you used it since the date of your original post? Should you take new pictures and email them to me if you have used it down? I'm most concerned about the remaining life of the stones and the outdated system. Thanks.

No I'm very careful not cross contaminate. No worries there. I believe they are balsa wood strops but I'd have to confirm. It could be just the regular leather. Great results with either way.

I have not used the system since it was posted.
