I bought this a couple of weeks ago from another BF member because I wanted to try the famed XM-18 for myself, but it’s just not for me. So back it goes!
I don’t know much about Hinderers, so if this is a crazy price, let me know! I tried to price it fairly, but I’ve never sold an XM-18 before…
Hinderer XM-18 3.5” Bowie. Stonewashed blade and lock scale. 20CV. Triway. Gen 6. The previous owner described it as “Used but not abused”. This knife has been sharpened by the previous owner. Black G10 scale has a few small scratches, and the lock side has some light pocketwear. The blade has smudge marks on the stonewash. Unsure from what. I switched out the phosphor bronze washers for the bearings and the action is good to go. Not amazingly smooth or drop shut, but it may just need some tuning. Comes with Hinderer box, sticker, triway bearings, and bronze/Teflon washers. I cut nothing but a piece of paper with it. Sharp. Detent and centering are both good to go. $425 G&S shipped USPS ConUS.
