Please read the sales condition carefully before you claim to buy any of these knives. Sales are for USA only. No trade please. Payments are through Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal F&F without any notes (sorry I no longer accept PayPal G&S). Claim to buy in this thread or via PM; payment info will be given via PM. Payment must be made within one hour after my info is given; otherwise the knife goes to the next buyer in line. The price is to your door and your signature will be required. If the knife gets lost before reaching the address that you provided, I will fully refund you. The knife will be dropped off at the post office within 24 hours of payment, bar weekends and holidays. Please PM me for questions or requests for additional pictures or videos. Please do NOT comment in this sales thread other than claiming the knife/ives that you want to buy.
Knives for sale: I have four knives for sale today. Here is a group picture. The description and a video of each individual knife follow. Here are the prices:
1. Yoshikane SKD Tsuchime Gyuto 240mm:$320 now $300
2. Tohiro DP Gyuto 240mm: SOLD
3. Spyderco Mule Team Magnacut with scales and sheath: SOLD
4. Cold Steel Outdoorsman San Mai:SOLD
1. Yoshikane SKD Tsuchime Gyuto 240mm. I bought this chef's knife a few months ago on a major Chef's Knife forum. The link to the sales thread can be provided private so that I do not break the BladeForums rule. If you are into medium-to-high end Japanese kitchen knives, you shall know this is truly a gem. The knife was sold out on a major Australia chef's knife website @$629 Aussie dollars. I have never used it on anything nor sharpened or stropped it. I am selling it only because the handle is a bit too fat for my small hands. Here is what the original owner said about it (literary quote) ""I have only stropped on a bare leather, no sharpen, used once when making a Lemon Garlic Pasta... This knife is UNIQUE! I had to sell my Yoshikane SKD Nashiji and some extra $$ to get this. A really beautiful knife. The tsuchime finish is impeccable, smooth, not nashiji or kurochi just to get that cleared for those who are in questions."
2. Tohiro DP Gyuto 240mm. I am the original owner. The knife has been well used but not abused. It is truly a workhorse in the kitchen and a great entry item to Japanese kitchen knives. It is freshly sharpened by me and it is screaming sharp.
