This is a custom knife made by Anton van der Westhuizen, a South African knifemaker; his work, attention to detail, and quality are impeccable, and this knife is no different. The blade is a beautiful Rose Damasteel, with a mirror finish; it is accentuated by the timascus pivot collars, the twin pocket timascus inlays, and the pocket clip. The sheen on the timascus is quite a looker in the light, and really pops when contrasted with the black cerakote finish on the scales. When it comes to the action, it flies open with a satisfying detent, and closes remarkably well with the IKBS bearing system. A master example of Anton's current work, and one I regret having to give up.
