The Mini Slim Pickins is the second in-house design to come from Alliance Designs. When they first set out to create the original Slim Pickins in 2018, their goal was to build a beautiful, well-made and functional folding knife that was also satisfying to fidget with.
This latest reiteration still checks all those boxes, with an added dash of innovation. This bolstered version of the Mini will come with FatCarbon's exquisite dark matter carbon fiber pattern and a brand new auxiliary detent which holds the blade in the closed position even while the button lock is depressed. This not only improves the action, but also reduces the chance of accidental deployment.
A numbered run of only 30 pieces, all of these are lasered, tuned, and assembled at our state of the art facility in Calgary, Alberta.
With our technical expertise and attention to detail, we've improved the action further by laser polishing the detent traction for ultimate smoothness.

I will call out two small imperfections I've noticed. There is a small scratch on the show-side pivot. There is a small snail trail on the show side titanium.
