Well the time has come. I have decided to “let go” of some that I just can’t hold hostage to a storage box any longer. I will entertain reasonable offers. I would prefer ppff and in general will honor first post or pm stating “I’ll take it”. I will only communicate thru pm so if you have an email it’s not from me. In general I am not looking to trade I am looking to thin the knife locker. It was hard to make this decision and I hope you like them.

Morseth Model15 - Nesmuk - laminate blade - 1991

Please ask questions and I can pm additional pics as required. I will post some more shortly as I get them together with their sheaths. Thanks for looking!

Just an FYI, these are not San Mai blades. Morseth knives always had laminated steel blades made by Brusletto. There was a carbon steel in the middle and stainless on the sides that was softer. It is a great blade but no one knows what the actual metal is. I know this because I work with Bob in his shop one day a week for the last two years and have heard every Morseth story you can imagine.

The ones you have were made on his second stint in the shop and likely made by Bob, Tom Krein, or Daniel Crotts. There were a few other guys that came through the shop but these are the main ones. Bob can always look at the solder joint and tell if he made it or not, but whether he did or one of the others, those are three greats.

Thank you for that information. Good to know. I’m not trying to mislead anyone. My post is adjusted to reflect this new information.
