Hi all,
I have some a wide variety of folding knives and slip joints up for sale today, from lightly used and ready to be used, to drop dead stunning safe queens ready for rough treatment should you be so inclined. Forgive the pic quality. Any requests for additional pics or more information available via PM. Reasonable counteroffers welcome. Insured shipping included in the prices. Payment via PayPal (friends and family not accepted), which will be provided once we come to terms. First “I’ll take it” here or via PM gets first dibs.
Kerry Hampton - Swellcenter “coke bottle” hunter - Now $800
OAL - 9 1/2”
Blade length - 4 1/8
Closed Length - 5 3/8”
Steel - D2 220 belt finish
Absolute stunner in Ebony from Kerry, another Bose acolyte. This is one of the most precise and impressive slipjoints I’ve handled from a maker who sees very few knives on the secondary market. Top shelf caliber in every way especially considering the amount of real estate. Gorgeous ebony, perfectly centered blade, no play, dead flush seamless backspring, great plunges and loooooong long swedges, ny knife co shield, brass pins, 8 or 9 pull. It does have a checks on the ebony near one of the pins, that I tried to show in pics, but are pretty hard to notice.
I’ve coddled it like a work of art, and is unused and uncarried, but this big knife is meant for heavy use. Ready for to be queen of the safe or king of the ranch. Guaranteed to satisfy either way. It’s a special one that my pics can’t capture.
Cliff Parker - tweety patterned Damascus gents liner lock - $900
OAL - 6 7/16”
Blade length - 3”
Closed length - 3 1/2”
Cliff’s a great dude and a really capable maker. Very few make small, slender, lean gents knives of this quality. Disappears in the pocket. Premium gold lip pearl scales with lots of color and fire, cheeky tweety and Sylvester mosaic Damascus for bolsters, blade, and backstrap, fileworked anodized blue titanium liners, gold thumbstud with gold lip pearl inlay. Nice lockup, no play, perfect blade centering. Detent a little loose. Carried but never used, not for lack of looking for opportunities. No signs of wear.
It’s a beaut, with a few hundred dollars of what you’d pay for it new.
More knives in next post.
