Some knives up for sale, now that I am gold again. All come with tubes and wax paper. Pictures show condition and I will provide more if needed. Prices include PayPal fees and Priority Mail flat rate shipping within the continental United States.
Prior to taking pictures I cleaned the blades with isopropyl alcohol but there still may be some Renwax/lubricant residue. Please rest assured that the descriptions match the condition (you may know how hard it is to photograph these high-polished blades!)
1. First is a Ben Hogan Lockback, #65LB in calico bone. This one has only been taken out of the tube for pics and admiring (I am the original owner). It is a very well executed, slim yet long pattern with stellar lockup. Looking for $OLD
2. Next is another Northfield, this time a #42 Missouri Trader in cocobolo. As a St. Louis native I feel a pang of guilt selling it, but this one is too nice for me to use. I am not the first owner but this does not look like it has been used or sharpened. These have a very fine tall grind. Looking for 74.00 $67.00 shipped
3. Finally I have the big #23 Tidioute Pioneer in Bocote, from 2007. This one is marked with the year on the tang and the serial (168) on the bolster. I am not the original owner, but again this one looks unused and uncarried. There is a small hairline scratch, maybe 1cm, near the Tidioute etch. Like most of the early 23s, the blades have a firm pull but I'd rate them at a 7.5 and very usable. Looking for 69.00$60.00 shipped
