First off is this rare custom Fallkniven F1. It’s the same as your standard F1, but with one big difference—the rubber handle has been replaced by the folks at Bark River with a vastly superior (in my opinion) desert ironwood burl handle with brass bolts. I don’t know how many runs BRK has done of these, but they don’t make them like this anymore and I’ve never seen another like it on the secondary market. If you check at knivesshipfree, you will see that they now have a more flared butt end (which covers the exposed tang at the rear) and a steel bolster. You will also notice that for one with a burl handle (they don’t have desert ironwood burl and I haven’t noticed a refresh with new models for at least two years) it will cost you $345. For this one, which has been used once to practice making feather sticks and is in almost new condition, with nothing but a light mark on the surface of the blade as you can see below, I am asking considerably less!

Here is a killer set of customized Beckers—a BK10 and a BK11. Here’s the link to the original sale thread here on BladeForums

The modifications were described as follows: “(for the BK10) I kept the factory tip location, dropped the spine, brought the polish up to 800 grit then ran it on a Very Fine Scotch-Brite belt to smooth out the finish. I tapered the tang to offset the weight lost in the blade/spine from the regrind, and I polished the spine, from the underside of the ricasso all the way around to the tip. The wood used is Stabilized Black Curly Maple, and the material removed from the finger area was done with a scroll saw and the remainder was used for the slabs on the matching BK11, both have matching mosaic pins (though the only has one and one stainless pin).

“The BK11 also had the spine dropped, a swedge added, and ricasso/handle tang/bottle opener polished.

“The slabs on both knives were brought up to 5K grit prior to polishing.

“Again these were done by a member here and this was a email stating what was done”

These remain in unused condition, though there is a very light bit of patina that started to form on one side of the 10. Barely noticeable, and easy to remove, but it’s there, just so you know.
I’m asking the same price the first owner was for the set: $SOLD TYD
