These are all "users" - most were purchased second hand with some use, they've mostly all been sharpened and I've had them all in my pocket a few times... That said, they're all very solid, functional knives. Due to Photobucket having gotten awful, I am uploading one big pic - if you want to see any specific pictures, let me know and I will make it happen.
First unqualified "I'll take it" here in the thread gets the knife.
All prices are shipped CONUS - I will give a $5 discount for each additional knife purchased. Payment via Paypal, (goods and services please add 3%). I will try to get any knives purchased over the weekend out by Monday, others as time permits, please be aware it may take me a day or two to get them out during the week due to an extremely busy schedule.
I reserve the right to decline to sell to anyone I wish.
I guess I will go down by row, left to right, top down. I didn't organize the knives very well.
1. Case Jumbo Stockman. This is an older example with two springs (I think it's from 2005 but I'm not great at dating Case knives). Nice, thick, evenly colored bone slabs, a few pepper spots here and there from the previous owner. I do not believe it's been sharpened. There are signs of rub marks on both the main and sheepsfoot blades as you would expect from this pattern. No wobble, good snap, just a good solid knife. No box - was $40, now $SPF
2. Buck 305 ~ Red Delrin. Sweet little knife, I don't believe this one has been used - old FFG blades, tight, good snap. There is a little melting on the plastic, by the blade well, near the secondary blade. Looks like somebody heated up a needle and laid it across the bladewell, so there's a small mark on both sides. I like this one a lot, so I'm pricing it high
was $40 now $35
3. Schrade 108ot mini stockman ~ I have the box (somewhere). The blades and backsprings are lightly discolored from poor storage. No wobble, blades snap, there are a couple of small gaps. Was 30, now $25
4. GEC 13, Speaker Jack in Muslin Micarta ~ Got this one in trade off the forums, it had a patina which I mostly polished off of the blades. Some pepper spots here and there that were harder to get off than the rest of the patina. It was sharpened by the previous owner and has some sharpening swirlies, otherwise it looks good. Wicked sharp, it's bitten me a couple of times! Nice, centered blades. I have the tube ~ $sold
5. GEC 15 Navy Knife in Cola jigged bone. This is from the original run of 49 carbon steel navy knives. I didn't care for the shape of the blade or the bail, so I wharncliffed it and pinned through the bail hole. It's still nicely pichable. I left the "Navy Knife" etch on there as proof that I didn't cook and refinish the blade. Speaking of, there are some fine scratches on the back side of the blade, I'm guessing from having it laying on my belt sander while grinding it down. I have a photo, if anyone cares to see it. I sharpened it up and carried it a few times. I don't love straight-edge knives I guess. Blade is really nicely centered. Pretty neat, and definitely unique! I have the tube, but it doesn't come with a button ~ was $85 now $80
6. GEC #14 Boy's knife in OD Green Micarta. Bought used, has been sharpened, has some swirlies from the previous owner and some pepper spots here and there on the blades, liners and springs. It also has a little divot (for lack of a better term) just in front of the nail nick on the main blade. There's one pretty bad transition from bolster to Micarta, if that really bothers you. Neat little knife, but if I'm carrying something in this size class, it's a Peanut because of the point. ~ was $65, now $60
7. Case 6 dot (1974) Barlow in Sawcut Delrin. Really solid knife! Very strong springs and very snappy, too. Thin grinds, the main blade is centered, the pen blade is off to the inside. It had some major pitting and active, red rust when I got it. I buffed it out the best I could, but it still shows divots on both blades. I don't think it'd ever been sharpened, but it'd definitely seen use. It looked at my butter knives with envy - put an edge on it, carried it around for a bit but for some reason it just didn't stick in my pocket. No box ~ was $45, now $40
8. Buck 309 in Stag. Awesome stag, neat little knife. As best I can tell it was an SFO from 2007. There's a big gap in the backsprings though, I can send a photo of that if anyone wants to see. The very tippy tip of the main blade taps the backspring when dropped. I'm sure this would rectify with a sharpening, just like every other 309 I have, I just haven't sharpened it. I am pretty sure I have the box - was $50, now $45
I have more pictures here, if you want to try to wade through the popups and adds on photobucket!
