"First up is a very special Jeremy Horton customized HHFSH with extra thick snakeskin scales put on by Garth at the Busse custom shop. This knife was dubbed the "SFNO killer" by Jeremy when he made it. It began life as a combat grade saber-ground HHFSH. He stripped it, and slimmed it slightly to .245" thick, kept the saber grind, and put a wicked polished convex edge on it. Garth at the custom shop then replaced the black canvas micarta scales with the nicest snakeskin scales he could dig up. He beefed them up a little by fusing some black micarta to the underneath, making them look like true snakeskin mags. There is also a thin black liner under each scale that Garth built in. This is an awesome combination of work and materials, a very special knife."
Here is J's thread when he made it. I got it from Balislinger who I'm guessing sent it to Garth to get the snakeskin put on. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/622475-Well-the-SFNO-era-is-almost-over!/page3
