Price increases?

I was a little bummed to discover that two of my favourite online dealers are reflecting a price increase in two of the most popular Spydie models - the Military and ParaMilitary.

I have been after a ParaMilitary in black for a while now but it looks like its gonna be a while longer....

I can never seem to get one here either - dang things are just too popular! :grumpy:
 
I've seen many for sale on the various forums lately. Don't give up, they're out there. :):thumbup:
 
The thing that sucks is that they increased the prices on the items that they already had in stock and aren't being produced anymore, so they couldn't have gotten the items after the price increase, yet they increased the price anyway. Best example is the Para-D2.
 
I believe Spyderco has increased their wholesale prices across the board & that's probably why you're seeing the price increases now. I don't know why discontinued models are up, but maybe because the other stuff is.

I'm not sure if the msrp's has gone up to reflect the wholesale prices, but probably.
 
I saw some insane prices on a Fallkniven the other day.

Actually, I think its just the black coated blades that have gone up.

Possibly that process has become more expensive.
