I have a newbie question for you all.

How much is a non-Taylor brand "Uncle Henry" 897 3-blade pocket folder currently worth if I wanted to sell it?

The MSRP in 2004 was $39.45, but they often sell for less on ebay. You might get $40 to $50 if it is new in box with all the paper work.

The best way to find out is to do a completed sales search on ebay & see what the ones matching the condition of your knife sell for. The box & paper work increases the value.

Especially if it is in the brown gift boxes will it bring the higher price. The NIB examples in the newer boxes are usually found for a range of $25.00 - $35.00. The 897UH is probably the most common USA Uncle Henry found on the open market.

Well...there's no box of any sort. This was a purchase made many years ago. The knife has sat in a drawer for a while.
