I've had my fun with ZDP, and now am looking to experiment with D2. I thought to get a BM folder, seeing as I don't have much use for a big chopper or the cash for a Dozier custom, but they're more than I was thinking on spending.

I also wanted to get/make a smallish pocket-fixed-blade, so I figured I'd come to y'all and see what you thought. How much would you D2 makers charge for a small (three-finger?), budget-minded (probably just go with bare/skeletonized handle, don't have much need for scales thickening it up) pocket FB in D2, with a wharnecliff profile if you don't already have a pattern that would work?

D2 is my metal of choice (making 7 right now all D2)
never made a wharncliffe style but thought about it
I will e-mail you

no I wont either.....you cant recieve e-maill
Ill be done with the 7 im working on late next week then I have 3 to start on but that would be a good "between projects" knife. E-maill me....well talk

Well, I changed that, y'all can email me now.

However, I'll preempt and email you, figure I already should be thankful that you answered

I have several wharncliffe- style designs that can be viewed at www.jbknives.biz (see the "Scalpels" and "mini-Scalpel"). I use A-2 as my steel of choice, but I can make D-2 versions of this knife also. Something similar to my 3- finger mini-scalpel, w/o scales and in D-2; will probably run around $120.00. All blades are heat treated by Paul Bos.
