Bladeforum fam,
Haven't been on the forum in years, but I've come crawling back because ebay took down my listing (they have a hard time telling the difference between 'extinct' and 'endangered' species). Really a shame because I had always thought of this knife as equal to "about one mortgage payment" and here I am needing to pay the mortgage. Unfortunately I can't be a cool knife dude and offer it to you for what I paid. But I'm not coming here to try and charge ebay prices, either.
Reduced to $550 PPGS and I'm taking offers.
Older picture, does not come with this pocket slip:
I'm the original owner (I was late to Differential Equations because I was trying to buy this thing in the bathroom when class was starting). Carried, sharpened, has a patina. Was stored with marine tuff on it, wiped it off for the pictures and put it in this KSF pocket slip (in plastic) and put that in a ziploc. It's all boxed up and ready to go because I thought I was selling it on ebay last week. I have idea where the northwoods slip is, I think I gave it to someone. No coin either.
