Maker: J. Behring
Blade material: O-1 Tool steel – Cerakote
Blade length: 4 ½ inches
Blade Thickness: 3/16 inches
Handle material: CNC chequered brown Micarta
OA Length: 9.125”
Sheaths: Mosher Leather
The handle is fairly small in diameter, and heavily contoured. It fits my medium size hand very well.
One owner from new, mint condition. Although today the Recon Hunter model is made by Jim “Treeman” Behring, this knife was purchased from James Behring Jr. (Jim’s son) at the 2011 Blade Show, and the conversation I had made me think that the knives were a joint effort at the time. The accompanying zippered case is signed “James Behring Jr.”
Thanks for looking,
Chris
