Here is another of my "Parley" models in some nicely figured Desert Ironwood. The steel is O1 tool steel with an RC59/60 hardness, heat treated in house for durability and edge retention. The blade was hand sanded and polished to a semi-mirror finish. It has a nice distal taper up front and a tapered tang for great balance. The handle is contoured for control and comfort.

There are 10 hand made 1/8" Mosaic pins with brass on the outside and 7 micro stainless steel (veterinary grade hypodermic) needles inside. They are very classy up close. This one is also file worked from tip to tip with the vine and thorn design. Don't let the file work and fancier pins fool you - this one is ready for work (after you make your hunting buddies jealous).

She is a slicer - who will be right at home in deer camp or at your next BBQ.

As you can see, there was a small inclusion on the top of the left hand scale that was exposed during shaping.
It's been sealed with cyanoacrylic (Zap a Gap) so it's nice and stable. Believe it or not, it's less obvious in person.

Ray - You're too generous with your comments. The fishing sounds good though and of course we'd have to take time to let me check out your shop - and I bet we could work in a little file work.

Very nice overall there Wayne but I REALLY REALLY like the shape of that handle , the wood the finish and those pins just give it all class .

Wayne,

Great looking knives, Iron Wood is outstanding, Wish only I had knot had you make me a costumer knives other wise I would got this one.

I am glad no fire with in 4 miles. Hope this does change. As I know this is not contain.

For all the people that know 7300 hundred ackers have burn from a wild fire and is as close as 4 Miles and if then wind changes Wayne has a little time to get out of the path of the fire.

Tom

Thanks Mr. Tom/redwing10

You're right, she does need a home and with hunting season upon us, I'm doing a one time price reduction so someone can enjoy her this year.....

Was $300, now $265 including shipping to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

All overseas must pay actual shipping costs (sorry but costs are going crazy with USPS).

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
