This EDC will be real handy for everyday chores and its sharpened swedge is great for small tasks. The contoured handle makes for a secure grip in multiple positions. I have always liked the look of canvas micarta and it has a reputation as a stable durable material that will last practically forever and it looks real sharp on this knife.The stainless pins add another degree of strength and longevity with a nice contrast to the black micarta. I almost exclusively use stainless steel for my blades but I have had a number of users ask for 01 tool steel so I have started working with it as well. The sturdy 7 -8 oz neats foot treated leather sheath is double sewn for added strength. I like the look that double stiching gives to a sheath so I frequently do that.
