Original wartime WW2 bring back butterfly knife with custom wooden ornate case , brass and
bone inlay.
I acquired this knife from a good friend whom owns a knife and collectibles store. I had this knife professionally restored by his shop and it turned out beautifully. The knife has water buffalo horn grips. half of one side grip was replaced during the restoration. It was made in 1942 in the Bantagas area of the Phillipines and brought back to the U,S. according to his original resource. The knife is in excellent condition and all moving parts are good and tight. Edge is extremely sharp. The wood box was made in the same time period and came with the knife.
I couldnt find any marking on the knife but it does match other ones made in that time period.
This is a rare and great collectible
