I was at KMart, hoping for closeouts or sales, etc. The Buck 110 is not "on sale" but its $29.95. Is that a good price for a new 110? Its the reglar one, not a fancy or special edition one.

Last week in Dicks sporting goods they had 110 for 19.95.

If you add a blade steel upgrade (BG42) by sending it to Buck with $35.00, you'll get a knife that's equal to or better than most for a mere $65.00. Plus you're backed up by Buck's warrantee.

There may be a delay in the blade exchange due to the factory's move to Idaho, but it's definitely worth the wait.

110's are American classics. You must be some kind of Commie if you don't have at least one in your collection.

You would be hard-pressed to find a better knife deal anywhere!
With proper care, it would be equally hard to wear it out in one lifetime.

It's an even better deal if you haunt knife shows like I did and found a near new 110 that someone had snapped the tip off the blade, so I got it cheap.

Knife 15.00
Upgrade 35.00 (ATS-34)

Buck cleaned it up so well, you can't tell it from a new one, so for 50.00 I got one that would have cost 85-90 from the custom shoppe, and the blade even says custom shop.

I don't know if you have a Dick's Sporting Goods in your area but they were selling them for 29.99 with a 10.00 rebate from Buck. You may be albe to buy from their website.

oops, didn't see someone mention Dicks in an above post

Happy Turkey! Dont forget the largest shopping day .... tomorrow! many places will be running sales. I found 2 110's at Kmart for 15.00 ea a couple of years ago.

The Cincinnati, Ohio Dick's Sporting Goods stores are not having a Buck 110 sale. They're still selling them for $39.95, and there's no Buck rebate for $10, at least locally. But, hearing that someone had found a Buck 110 for $19.95 after a $10 Buck rebate certainly got me out to a store to see if that was happening around here!

I sent my finger grooved 110 in for the BG42 blade upgrade a few weeks ago, after reading about it on these postings. For the cost, you really cannot go wrong. Classic styling, World class guarantee, and modern day high-tec blade steel. it may not be the most current design, but when i have to cut up stuff and do not have time or inclination to baby my bladeware, I go with my anniversary 110 or my 119. They do the job, every time.

Do not forget Alascan Guide from Cabela's with CPM S30V steel and TiAlN coating.

Thanks, Vassili.
