For the same reason that the MFS costs less.
We make them that way.
The WP's are made from leftover pieces of steel in the shop.
They are made much more simply than our higher end stuff.
Bare bones utility.
Same thing with the MFS.
Though they are not made of scrap.
They are less refined than the other stuff.
We remove some steps.
They are a great value though.
