Both of these are forged from 3/4" round bar 5160 and are triple normalized, triple hardened, and triple tempered. The handles are two layers of paracord impregnated with Minwax Wood Hardener to make a composite material in place on the tang. The bottom layer of paracord retains its core to help comfortably fill the hand, while the top layer has its core stripped to lay flat. A two-strand Turk's head knot tops everything off and serves as a bit of a guard to keep your hand locked firmly in place.

The blades are 7" long including the choil, with an overall length of 12 3/8". The spines are 1/4" thick. The edges shave hair. These are built with military usage in mind, so they are stout, but cutting ability is not compromised and they are light for their size. They are slightly blade heavy with the balance at the choil.

The top knife has coyote brown for the underlay, and the bottom has black. Overlays, Turk's head knots, and Kydex sheaths are desert tan. Two MOLLE locks per sheath.

Hey bro how does the minwax do on paracord? I use it alot for wood and bone scales but never thought about using it for cord. Good idea

Thank y'all!

ZOmbi - PM headed your way.

Masenutz311 - Works quite well. It sucks down into the fibers instantaneously, and I keep brushing it on until the cord is saturated. Dries nice and hard. You can get the cord back off again if you work at it with a hacksaw. :D

James,

I got your email, however when I replied your email address rejected it. I can't send you a PM or an email through the forum because you disallow it. Please let me know how I can contact you with the information you requested, or you can email me through the forum with the information you need to send.

Thanks.

Sorry about that, I messed around with my settings and found that I had an old e-mail address. Changed that. Not sure about the PMs or e-mails being disallowed; I couldn't find anything that said that and I got a PM from a member last night.

I'm sending you another e-mail and will include my business e-mail address in the message just in case. Thanks!

Weird about the PM's thing. I sent a PM to another member a few weeks ago no problem, but for some reason I cannot send you one. When I tried to reply to your email through the forum link in the original message after my attempt to email reply got bounced, it took me to an error page that said:

'Sorry! That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails. If you still wish to send an email to this user, please contact the administrator and they may be able to help.'

Thats awesome. I'm gonna have to try it out. That's a good idea and I bet alot easier then using epoxy. Thanks bro and keep up the good work.
