well this is something a little different even for me, first time iv'e tried to make one, it's a wood workers draw knife, I had hawk handles in mind when i made this, and i tried it out, will work well for roughing out handles from heavier stock.
the handles are textured,dyed,burnt, and polished elk horn tips. didn't wanna pin the elk so i drilled holes and ground notches in the tangs, then filled the horn with fiberglass resin,should hold pretty well.
the blade is forged 5160, cleaned up a bit , lightly polished, etched then cold blued.
