Primble's Saturday mail call and a thank you to members

Excellent all around. Love the Hatch knife and the chucky cheese coin is just priceless too.

You have been a great addition to our little community Mr P, and have certainly raised the bar in terms of photography

Another heart-warming post, what a wonderful place we have here :)

That HATCH knife is absolutely outstanding

Well done to all concerned :)

The internet, like everything else God has given us the wisdom for or made for us,can be used for good or bad.I think you are using it for good,as evidenced.Any time you can make a child or the least of us happy,I believe God smiles in his way.

The worst part about being in this community,is we are so far apart and only get real contact maybe at knife shows. It's mostly why I go.I hope to meet you some day Primble.Central Ky is a nice show close to you,and Denny's is right there, you could buy me breakfast.:D

That Hatch is quite the gift, ebony is timeless and beautiful.

More than the Hatch, thank you card, leather or Charlow, the love of friends is what gives life worth and you are a rich man indeed. Thanks for sharing and for such great photos.

Well said.

I would certainly buy your breakfast Lyle, if I get to see your old farmers and roosters in person. :D

Maybe I will make the rendezvous next year. I would like that.

Thank you to everyone who responded here - it makes me feel more welcome!

and thank you, once again to the generous ones!

:)

Fixed it for ya. No need to thank me. :D

Good on all of you, fantastic mail call. I don't know about anyone else but I particularly like Riley's card, a knife lover starting at a young age

Glad you like the leather kit Primble!

Be careful! or that may turn into this!

Have fun! I expect to see some "Primble pouches" soon!:p

When I was a young bloke , I can remember vividly , sitting on a hard wooden church floor ,only the adults got to sit down properly and even then a number of men often stood .
It was then , sitting on that floor that I heard " it's better to give , than receive " for the first time .
I remember thinking " are you nuts "
Christmas wasn't far off , and my dreams of vast piles of treasure were constantly on my mind .
It's better to give than receive , yeh right .
Now fast forward more than a few years and that idea that once mystified and puzzled me is one that I try to participate in everyday to one degree or another .
There are people here that also seem to be members of that knowing group .
I've seen and been on the receiving end of outstanding generosity and kindness from members here .
This is a great place and a rare shelter from the storm of my real day to day world .
To all concerned I loudly and raucously applaud you .

This picture made me chuckle. I have the same glider and that ottoman has been upside down on my workbench a couple of times. It just came back into the house last week from it's latest venture out into the garage.

Hahaha! That is really funny that you spotted that! I didnt even notice it in the pic until after I posted it. Bolts fall out of that sucker regularly. It has come to the point where I am tired of fixing it and am now dismantling it to recycle the parts. Should be a comfy cushion for one of my chairs and who knows what I will do with the rest of it...
