Those sheepsfoots sure are KNICE.... WOW Primble, beautiful collection you have there. I can tell you haven't been bitten by the bug, not at all.:thumbup:

I have a #15 EO 'scout'
I have an old Boker Barlow.
But, I have no Charlow. :(

My pick would be the long pull clip sort of in the lower middle.
Speaking of lower middle, you can ship to Texas, right?
thanks.
:D

My favorite. Amazing.

Thanks for the laughs! :D

I don't know if I can play, but the one I prefer is the sheepfoot amber sawcut bone with the longpull.
On the right side of the picture, in the middle...
That's a beauty!
You got such a collection Primble!

My favourite is the double bladed one hand knife with wood scales on the bottom left; maybe because A gentleman on an MMA forum I frequent just lost an arm to flesh eating disease.

Beautiful knives, the entire lot. I have yet to see one of these in person. Wonderful gesture!

I already won a Primble knife so I'm set! Plus who likes Charlows anyway...ppfft.
This thread needs more patriotic horses, hidden clues and allusions, and arguments about teal.
Otherwise I just don't know how to feel about it.

I guess I better think about letting Stephen back on this thread if we are going to have "Patriotic Horses" :D

Your chances are a little/a lot better on that other thread Rachel - if they don't renig - I am proud to say that I am a Charlow collector/hoarder! ;):D

I have only gifted one away - but - did pass on the opportunity to hoard ones I already have. Could have used them for trades, but, decided to leave them for others. ;)

I know Evan has done the same thing. ;)

Why this one if I may ask? I was always surprised that the versions with two full sized blades (also the Farmboy #15) aren't more popular for real users. The Charlow's blades aren't so long (like on a Trapper) where you can't choke up to the tip of them and you're already carrying around a full-sized slot for the pen blade: so why not?

The saddle brown saw-cut bone TC Days Work was my first Charlow and as I found a few more, I decided to make it my Charlow user. I like having the two full size blades and I just like it, I guess. The etch is gone on it now. I usually pack it in a belt sheath and it is always with me when fishing. I do carry a lot of different Charlows with me, nearly every day, but, the ones that have the etch intact only get light duty work. None of my knives are locked away in safes - I just mix them up and pick the one I want for the mood I am in - most of the time. :)

I admit to being a collector - but - I don't have any that I am afraid to put in my pocket for a while. ;)

Primble,

Thanks for having another GAW so soon; it blows my super duper mind that you'd do this! I'm not from any of the banned regions, have never visited any of them, nor have I ever phoned anyone in any of those places (although I once knew I guy who came from Alabama, with a banjo on his knee - I hope that doesn't disqualify me).

I haven't paid much attention to Charlows (or BMWs); they seem like splendid knives (or automobiles), but don't comfortably fit my current budget. And I haven't paid very close attention to the Charlows you own; your photos are exquisite, but they make it difficult for me to keep the 10th Commandment (Thou shalt not covet), so I've rarely looked at those photos with more than one eye. But I can still probably pick a favorite. When I win, I'd like you to send me a Charlow with saw cut bone and 2 blades, one straight and one with some belly, one large and one small; I'll leave the specific blade combination to your discretion. If you don't own a Charlow that matches my specifications, I'm sure your honor will compel you to find one for me.

Oh, and will you also send one of those old coins so I can display my prize in the manner to which it's accustomed? And can I have some fries with that? Say hello to Lynda for me.

I'm not gonna be greedy and tell you to give me the whole lot. You can pick 2 out for your self and I'll take the rest. That sound fair?
If I had to pick specifics I'd say any of the one armed or the red boan ones.(I'm sorry but that is as specific as I can get)

Why do I always have to repeat myself when I post to this forum?

I find the almost double posts happen when you hit quick reply. If you always go advanced before posting, no chance of double post :)

I suppose I should place my farmers jack collection here to collaborate with your generosity.

I'm in ole buddy.

The two that appeal the most to me are the sawcut bone with the one-arm razor. The red at bottom center and the orange at top left. I'd say that you all are taking this competition for most epic giveaway a bit too far! :p

Those two would be my favorite of the group also. However if there were one just like the top left with a clip main blade that would be a "grail" knife for me.

Chris

New traditional knife collector, checking in from Iowa. Wow.... and double wow! Any of the wood scaled TC Barlows look awesome to me.
