Sometimes I will make a knife like this that will appeal to the reenactment folks. Maybe not completely period correct but you get the idea. The Guard is made from wrought iron from an old wagon tire and acid etched to bring out the grain.
Forged from 5160 steel
Belt finished flat grinds
The top edge is nearly sharp but because I am not sure of local laws on daggers I left it dull
Wrought iron guard
Stabilized figured cherry handle
Overall length: 12 1/2 inches
Blade: 7 7/8 inches
Leather sheath with a removable frog
SOLD delivered to the US or Canada. My email and PayPal account is gldrewknives@gmail.com Please contact me for other payment methods or overseas shipping rates.
