For those, like myself, that own a P Auto portable band saw you had better stock up on blades because it looks like they are discontinuing them. I went to check the online stock the other day and they didn't have any in stock and the part number had been moved into the archives:( I was in Ottawa yesterday and decided to check the in store stock and found some blades, but they were listed as a clearance item and the little portable band saw was no where to be seen. I am going back in tomorrow to buy what ever they have left, but it looks like I will be saving some money to buy a real band saw for when this one bites the dust:o

dewalt makes them, milwakee makes them, you can even get them at home depot. dont fret.

No these are cheap Power Fist Chinese/Taiwan knock offs that only cost $90, the more professional models that you mention

Yeah, they sell the band saw in rolls. One of my band saws has a shear and a butt welder right on the side for making your own.

I am just going to buy what I can and use them up while saving to get a real bandsaw. Busy Bee has a couple of nice ones that should be in my budget by the time I run out of blades

I suspected that was going to happen when they kept putting the saw on sale, but there were no blades in stock.

I found that the price of the blade at $15 was too high anyway.

I found one online source selling what looks like good blades for $5 each. and free shipping

You can still get that saw in Canada from one hardware store bringing in the Harbour Freight and re selling them.

Pretty good prices on those. Has anyone used those. Hss 8% should be m42 and the Lenox blades tht use that steel are about $7+ each in 3 packs.
