Up for grabs, a rare, just about mint in the box, vintage DA SOCOM Tanto Tactical. (plain edge)
I’m the original owner, I’ve had this new in box, uncarried, never once used, for nearly 20 years.
Imo, the rarest of the original production DA SOCOMS. Plain edge Tanto is always the more sought after version, and, this was the even tougher to get all blacked out tactical. And it’s in like new/completely unused condition with its box.
The blade is dead center, the detent is crisp, action very smooth, unlike many of the early SOCOMS, this one has early, totally solid lockup as you can see in a closeup.
As you can also see in the video, the auto action is perfect. It was stored open.
I don’t have a pic of the box, but I do have the original box.
You’d be hard pressed to find a better example of an early DA SOCOM.
I’d like $1395, this includes shipping and GS fees which I’ll pay. I think it’s fair considering how pristine and perfect this one is, particularly given this rare configuration. Apparently only 100 were made.
