TRW retiree passed this to me.

Go to Google, type your phone # in the search column & your address appears & a map bar. This gives your full name AND a map to your front door !

No idea about cell phones because I have the 24/12 & Onstar.

thats nothing man, anyone willing to pay the fee can go down to your local court house and get all your tax information, it all public record.......scary stuff

Uh... The printed phone books list your name and address too, and always have, since about 1880.

It looks like its just a reverse look up for the phone book, which has been around a while on other sites. I didnt know google did it. It didnt work on my cell # though.

My unlisted home number didn't show up either, but I have to pay the robbers at the phone company a monthly fee ($2.50, I think) to keep it out of the phone book.

You can request it be removed from every source you find but there will always be another.

My daughter recently left her job. She just got a call at home from another employee who had always counted on her to take care of problems others in the company ducked. She asked how he got her home number, since she never gave it out on the job (except to HR). He told her another employee had Googled it for them. Them. She's gotten other calls since. Not pleased.

BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU.

Mine showed my old address. HAHAHA!:p

I'm sure it will get updated though. :(

Actually, I don't really care as it is not an unlisted number. My cell phone number didn't bring anything up. That I do care about.

However, you click on map & it gives directions to your front door !

So it gives a map with the address, instead of someone having to take the ten extra seconds to plug your address into google maps.

Who are you worried is going to find you?

The printed phone books also included a map of the town, which anyone could use to find your house.

When I was single ,there were a couple of guys that didn't want me to mess with their women & I became a bit paranoid.

Now I really don't worry because some part of my armory is by each door. Home invasion isn't a spectator sport .
