Just wanted to mention what a privilege it has been to meet two BF members in the past week.
Last Fri. afternoon I spent observing Knifenut1013 while he sharpened a couple knives......here is a true craftsman.
Jason takes great pride in his ability and is a true perfectionist. The passion and respect for blades is very easy to see.
He not only explains what he is doing, but WHY.......it was great visiting with him. I felt I learned a lot, and of course, lots just didn't sink in during this first visit.
Sharing somewhat off-topic stories was also fun.

Yesterday I stopped by to visit with Phillip Patton, another great young talent among us.
He too took the time to show me around his shop, that I would kill for... and got a chance to have a peak at some of his current projects.
Phillip surely has the right tools for the job....wish I had had my camera....and his work and talent speak for itself.
BTW...if you need some Osage, Phillip is your go-to guy.

Thanks guys, for sharing your time and expertise with me!

Nice to meet you too, Rick, and you're welcome to come back sometime.
Thanks for the kind words, and to reciprocate, let me say that your sheath work is very nice, and looks much better in person than in your pictures. :foot:;)

Oh I'll be back.....especially now that I know where the Mother Load of Osage is located!:D

Phillip is a great guy. I met him during the summer and was amazed by his tools, and his work that he had on the bench.
