"Pro Grip" for handles?

Im interested in this too. Home Depot sells some plasti dip stuff that you dip tool handles in and leaves them kinda like a pair of channel locks. Thought it would be cool to do on a slim knife that gets thrown in the tackle box or something similiar.
 
Hmmm---may just have to get some and try it out. If it totally doesn't work for handle finishing, supposedly it's still good for making outdoor stairs non-slip; and since I nearly took a tumble off of them in rain a few weeks back, that's probably a worthwhile project. :D

I haven't seen the Home Depot dip--- 'nother I may have to play with. :)
