This is a very rare early model Pro-tech TR-1 in perfect condition. I could not find any information about this specific TR-1 model's blade style in my searches. It is very powerful with a well centered blade and smooth action.
This great old TR-1 varies from the current TR-1's in that instead of a chisel grind tanto blade, it has a hollow-grind on the top and bottom of a spear tip style blade. The top of the blade is not sharpened. The top of the blade has a slight flat part extension at the choil by the handle, on the top of which is the Pro-Tech logo. On the new TR-1 the logo is on the side of the blade. This TR-1 has a high mounted stainless clip for a low ride, a comfortable T6 aluminum skeletonized handle for light weight and easy cleaning (current model has a solid handle), jimping, open handle back, again light weight and easy cleaning, 154-CM steel spear point blade with a hollow-ground plain edge. It is similar to the Emerson CQC7 in size and style. It does not come with a box but with a Microtech belt sheath, complete with Shark. It may have been customized some time in it's life by Pro-Tech as the blade style is unique to the TR-1, yet it is stamped Pro-Tech on the top of the blade. Very unusual, and collectible.
Here are the specs from the Pro-Tech website

I searched and searched and could not find any info about this very rare #78 of 500 First Production (perhaps the only production) Elishewitz designed Automatic Rescue Benchmade knife. I couldn't find anything on the Benchmade website or forums about it, or anywhere else for that matter. This mysterious Benchmade 9110FS Auto Stryker Rescue knife is pristine, NIB, and perfect for a serious Benchmade or Auto collector.
