I just got the beast of a knife and it's just not what I really want out of a knife. It's 1/4 1075 HC steel from end to end with no distal taper. Rough textured G10 handles. Would make an excellent one tool option where not breaking it was your main concern. It's heavy, close to 2 pounds and comes with a kydex lined nylon sheath.

The edge came ridiculously thick so I convexed the edge and knocked the shoulders back. It's quite sharp now and a big improvement over the factory edge. I used my 2x42 belt sander. I started with 180 and worked up to 800 grit keeping the blade cool with water.

The coating is solid but has a few scuff marks from handling while sharpening. Otherwise it's unused.

I just paid $147 shipped for this and I'm looking to recoup a fair price.

$100 shipped lower 48 PayPal fees included.

Cold Steel Moro Barong

This is the discontinued Moro Barong Sword that CS offered some time ago. It appears unused and only fondled. It has some rub marks from the rosewood sheath but other than that its beautiful.

Huge piece, 25 inches overall and 18" blade. Very sharp from tip to ricasso. Nicely made, with a beautiful wood handle and sheath.

Picture shows it with a common 10" chefs knife.
