Probably a stupid question...alaskan guide stag 110 scales...

Stuck em in the above post. :D

Thanks Brother Ratty;),

Those are all fantastic looking knives!!! Now, can I ask you...as they look some what familiar...are those Boss S30V blades drop points??? An inquiring mind wants to know.

yup BCCI from a couple years back, and a couple of bg42 that I had previously ordered

Nice photo's of your AG there aza77!!!

Here is my stag AG and a lop sided LE.

I love stag as no two knives are ever the same. The more bark the more I like it. However, this can and will cause you to have some of the thickness issue's you pointed out. That don't bother me at all:). If you don't like these variations...you can send them all to me;)

Thanks for the pics jb4570...very nice.

I actually really like my handles...the texture is nice on both sides...I'm guessing that thickness variations are normal and if so...then hey! I'll get used to it.

Your ag is very nice.

aza77,

In my opinion, I think your stag AG looks pretty good. :) I would have no problem with that knife.

Are everyone's stag knives pretty much uneven as far as thickness goes? It looks like it is the norm rather than the exception.

With stag, everyone is different. I have some that are well matched, some that have different thickness, and some that have a quite a bit of difference in the character of the stag from side to side.

How does mine look compared to all of yours? Is this stag pattern typical? Attractive or not so much...I'm asking cause I've haven't really seen too many.

I think that Buck looks fantastic!

I would be proud to have that one hanging on my belt.

Thinking back over the years it seems pretty normal to me. I have had several and they were much the same as yours.

Looking at all that nice stag I just wished I could get one with "Oversized" stag....A really big fat grip might be a good thing!
