Where were the missing knives?

Juan left them on a table about six feet from Wades table.
Even though Wade could see the blades since they were not on his table he quit working after finishing only two.
Thanks for watching.
Respect.

You need a custom "Snody Paddle" for those naughty grinder monkeys :)

I have some special powder that I throw in the grinder monkey faces when they get really bad..
Its like the Zombie powder from Haiti but I make mine from carbon fiber dust and gun powder.
I throw it like a ninja when their grinding or working on something and can not see me coming.
If I hit them with a whole handful it will eventually get behind their glasses and into their eyes.
The carbon fibers cut you and the gunpowder attacks the bare nerve ending.
Thanks for your support.

I need me some of that powder, sprinkle it around my yard to keep out the strays. If you don't mind my asking, what knives was he working on?

I appreciate your comment.
He is working on the New Narita Ninja Tanto.
They are made from S7 Supershock with a 12" blade length

I like the saying about the cut on the lip, and eye....Is this employee still with you? If so, I bet he's doing a great job now.

Liked the knife making video I saw of yours, but this one was a bit off putting. Employees screw up, ass chewing is often necessary, but humiliating an employee and broadcasting it as entertainment might cost you some sales. I am sure some of your potential customers work in trades jobs who have bosses who berate them and that video might not sit well with them. I am a fan of your work, just giving you some honest feedback.

Do their bosses berate them because the bosses are dicks or do they berate the worker because the work sucks?

I have had a lot of people doing construction for me in the last couple years, and the bosses berating them saves them from me...the bosses are most likely kinder.

Suck is suck....that is a fact of life.

There are a bunch of Snody knives that I want....I even have them on order, and can't get Mike to make them....pretty sure Mike sells everything he makes...so he can afford to choose his customers....just like Mike, his work isn't for everyone.

Now tell me about what custom knives you got, son?

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

No need to be so elitist. Mike works at a price point (often not always) that makes it very interesting for potential first timers when it comes to handmade knives to buy his. I agree that it COULD potentially turn away customers. As Mike himself already realised since he replaced the video with something else.

I didn't even see the video. But Mike cussing out an employee doesn't fit the image that I have of him.

I liked the video. Anyone who doesn't see custom knives as having a certain elitist quality(quest for perfection, higher quality materials, attention to detail) has no concept of how the world works. Stating this is honest, to deny it is disingenuous.

Mike is a really cool, mellow guy, but when his dander gets up....bad things can happen....your image of him notwithstanding.

Thinking I might want one of them there Tanto things, love to see the finished product

The image I have of him is one he's been carefully sculpting. That of a smart buisinessman who treats people well. Like I said I didn't even get to see the video.

Custom knives are not elitist. There's no one trying to keep others out....anyone who states otherwise doesn't know the meaning of the word. Anyone with over $100 in pocket change can get into them. There are no clubs you need to get into, no exams you have to take, no membership fees other than that required to purchase at least a custom knife. Yes there is a striving towards perfection. But it's open to everyone.

Certain custom knives are only for those with deep pockets however. That it true.

Basically....posting a video of a boss cussing out his employee is just bad buisiness....which I suspect is why it's not online anymore.

Ummm... Yeah... It is the internet showing footage from a reality show.

I think everything will be OK ;)
