I dont know if anyone has traded/purchased anyting from member OWL owlinthehood@yahoo.com using the name Manuel Beltran. I sent him a money order more than a month ago for a Matriarch sheath and haven't received anything. I have emailed him three times in the past two weeks, but haven't received any replies. I was wondering if anyone knew him or had done business with him in the past. He had over 700 posts on the board, so I felt comfortable he had been around awhile. Thanks for the help.

We had constant email communications, and he even paid priority shipping on the order.

THat was back in September though...
 
Have you emailed Owl and asked what was happening? I know it could NOT be the USPS screwing up here... ;)
 
i have made a couple of deals with manuel and both went smooth with no problems at all
 
Yes, I have emailed him three times in the past 10 days. I am getting no reply. I also noticed he just stop posting in the forum suddenly around Dec. 18th. This is a pain in the ass for just a $25.00 knife sheath, but it's the principal. I want my money or my sheath.

I doubt he left here just to keep your $25. I hope he is okay. He will take care of you.
 
You could also try looking up his phone number. It's pretty easy to do on the internet, as long as he has a listed phone number in his name. Since you already know his name and address, all you need to do is go to http://people.yahoo.com or a similar site, and enter the search criteria.

I've swapped emails with Owl on several almost trades...He is not a ripoff type, I don't think...I really doubt he is able to respond or I believe he would...

"Owl" will NOT rip you off. He must either be having computer problems, or personal/health problems. I know it's hard, but have a little more patience, and unless "Owl" is dead, he WILL make it right with you.
 
I've also dealt with him at least once without a problem. Come to think of it, I've yet to have a problem with a BF transaction.
