problem with Tenacious and Persistence

I honestly think that Spyderco use only Torx screws. At least for the last while. My Tenacious also has T-6 size screws, and I've replace the clip with no problem.

184 Spyderco knives and I have yet to see an Allen head clip screw on one.

Well, now you've seen it. The Spydie on the left has the right screw slightly rounded.

We could just do...oh, I don't know. Ask Mr. Glesser. He is the expert on all things Spyderco. Just a thought. Also, now I have to get a Tenacious and Persistence. I was holding off because I have a Cat and Chicago, but the more I see these 2 Chinese folders the more I want them. Thanks, guys.

It looks like you're right. It also looks to me like Spyderco needs to switch back to Torx for these. ;)

The older tenacious models have torx the newer run has allen. also the allen size isnt 1.5mm its 1.7mm so you just stipped out the screws, if you DONT want to send it to spyderco try using som needlenose pliers to turn them out, but I reccomend you send it in.

pic was gone by the time I got to this thread but ugh if they did switch to allen.... I love the torx screws. Mine has torx as well, but it is much older.
