Problem with VFD

I'm having problems with my TECO FM50 VFD. It's getting power, but when I push START it just clicks and nothing happens with the grinder. Through some random button pushing the other day, I got it started and working fine. Now it seems I can't repeat that random sequence of button pushing!
I'm sure I just have one of the settings messed up, but the manual doesn't cover much on actual button-pushing. Anyone had this problem or have any idea what's going on? I know I'm not giving you much to go on, but maybe it's a common problem? Thanks for the help.

What does the screen flash when you hit the button and it clicks? it should give you an error code to tell you more or less which parameter to change, in the manual it should have a list of the error codes. When I installed my vfd for the first time I had the breaker on one buss bar so it was only getting 115 instead of 230 so it flashed "LV". After re arranging my breakers I got it on both buss bars and 100% good now. Not sayin that is your problem just giving an example of flashing an error code.

Same as Gixxer, see what codes it's flashing. You do have to run through the settings and set it up. The main things to look at are your ramp up/down rates, your low speed setting, etc. If you have your lowest speed setting in the VFD too low, it can cause it to error. That happened with mine when I tried to go TOO slow. Raised it up a bit, and it's just fine.

You probably don't have it set in run mode. When I start mine it starts in the H section and I have to change it to d001 to run it. Read your manual and you should be able to find the issue.
