Problems seeing pictures in posts

Hello,

I've recently (last week or so) been having trouble seeing pics in posts. At first I would get a little square with a ? in it (I think) where the pic would be, now I get nothing but the text in the post. I can see the pic if it's in the post as an attatchment. Here are 2 examples, both in the Knifemakers Fixed Blades For Sale area:

In the post " Edc/skinner and 3 blems" by Jarrett Fleming I can't see the pics. In the post "Flat ground drop point neckers" by Bradshawblades I can see the pics at the bottom of the post.

Any clue as to whats wrong??

Do you use photobucket? The reason I ask is that myself and a few others use photobucket and we're experiencing the same issue.
 
What kind of device are you using to browse the forums? Windows PC? Mac? Phone?
Check to make sure your device is current with updates.
 
I'm on a PC browsing with Firefox, and about 6 months ago pictures started having trouble loading on BFC as well. Sometimes, pictures would load, some would, some wouldn't, it seems to be random. To fix it I just refresh the page until they do load... It's become second nature to me now but I am also interested in this problem.

Not to steal the op's thread, but I'm browsing on an up to date Droid X. I reset my phone to "factory settings" last night hoping it would fix it. Negative, still issues. I think it's a meshing problem with photobucket/droid rather than a forum issue. None of the forums I frequent seem to be working properly with photobucket for me.
 
Hmm, well that might rule out the update on the phones issue. Anyone have a link with nonworking pics? I'd like to see if my phone, PC, and iPad work.
 
I'm having trouble with my phone (android) and on the PC (Windows) with Firefox. When I get home I'll check with IE and see if it works.

Rev, no link but the thread I mentioned in my original post is one that doesn't work.

I just now looked through the thread, and the photos work on the iPad and iPhone. I'll try a PC when I make it back to the office. It might well be a problem with the Droid(s).
 
I'm getting about half and half... some visible and some not. I don't know that I've found a particular pattern (I can see some photobucket images, but not all). I just assumed it was our firewall acting buggy, but maybe it's a larger issue.

Mac and PC (firefox/chrome/safari) all up to date.
 
I too am having the same issue, I noticed it late last week. Not sure if the issue is device related as much as what version of android you're running. This occurred on both my DROID X and a Color Nook but not a newer DROID Razr or Kindle Fire. On the DROID X, I was running the standard browser. Tried Dolphin much no change. There has not been much info online yet. PC is fine btw. Pics I posted last week are no longer visible. Did not test if its related to photobucket only or other services.

This seems to be related to Photobucket, pics posted from Fototime, GoogleUserContent, tapatalk, and Imageshack are visible, as are attachments from paid members. The Photobucket site is currently down for routine maintenance. I will check the support page to see if anything is mentioned about being down. I noticed there is some discussion on a "new" Photobucket but I dont know how new the new Photobucket is.
 
I sent an email to Photobucket support, will see what comes out of it. From my own experience, this is only impacting somewhat older android devices. I'll respond back with their response. What is the world going to come to without our mobile knife porn?
 
Droid x started last week what a mess!!!!! Slowing down my buying. Also had problems getting blade forums to come up last 30 days off and on? ???????????

There were some problems a week or more ago with the forums, so that wouldn't necessarily be device specific.
 
Definitely having issues showing pics on my Android. In the "what are you whitling these days" pics that showed up before are not any longer.
 
Still having problems on my Samsung phone but I'm starting to think it's Photobuckets problem. Here are a few threads and what I can or can't see, can we find out what service is being used to host pics on these threads?

Showing pics as Attatched Thumbnails, if I click pic it opens up as it should.

And finally I checked one of my old 'FSOT' posts and no pics, blue squares with '?' instead, I use Photobucket.
