Problems seeing pictures in posts

Same here, pics are back! Apparently it was not only android but blackberry and others being impacted. Photobucket support never responded to emails but I'm sure they had thousands. Knife porn is back!
 
Perhaps I spoke too soon, still no pics on my older Color Nook but everything else is OK. Hopefully in a few more days it will be back to normal

Same on my Kindle Fire... It has been like this for a while and I have tried several things with no luck... Cant find anything on the internet ether. :grumpy:
 
I am seeing pics in threads on my pc (Windos 7 and FF) and on my android phone (Samsung Galaxy III) - not sure if they are being hosted from photobucket though

Probably an intermittent server issue on photbuckets side

Other sights do also and that makes a lot of Red X's......:(

I post a lot of photos for Todd here on this sight - via his web site.
And some times they run like a scan on their site and it will wipe out 100's of photos Todd has posted here on Bladeforums for a while, maybe an hour or so, an than the're back......:eek::)
 
Ive not had the 1st issue until tonight when I started using my kindle fire... iphone 4 and Pc ok just my fire getting the blue triangles/squares. ?
 
Anybody else noticed that Photobucket have started to mess with their [.IMG] tabs to redirect the trafic to their site?

For example, copying an IMG tag directly from photobucket now gives:

However, if you remove the [.URL] tag from the given link, you get

If I'm not mistaken, you'll get a correct image display from the second image, on Tapatalk and othe handheld devices.

This has made my life a living hell for the past months (okay, maybe slightly exaggerating here), but the fault's on Photobucket and some less than stellar business practice on their part.

Edit:Bingo, just worked for me as expected on the iphone.
 
There are also reports of people having issues with YT videos, and replies to longer messages. I've noticed that replying to a longer message will result in a database error message directly from VBulletin.
 
I'm viewing BF from a Windows PC with Google Chrome, I'd say 70% of all pictures are NOT visible to me...
And yes, PC and all applications are up to date
 
svh, I also use Chrome but I haven't had any recent problems. What I usually suggest as a first attempt at a fix is to clear your cookies. They can get corrupted, with erratic results.
 
I've noticed issues lately also. I'm doing all my browsing via Chrome on a Win7 laptop. Have also seen the problem trying Firefox 22.0 & IE10 on the same computer. Seems to be related to viewing pics linked via 'mobile'/smartphone apps (at least that's where I've noticed problems lately). I see placeholders for the pics, but not the pics themselves. If actually looking at the URLs for the posted links (can view the url code if 'Replying with quote' in the editor), the format seems different from the usual urls I see from photobucket.

I'm on iPad and iPhone. The EDC III thread has some pics showing, some not. The IMG tag seems to be correct. i managed by repy with quote, copy the http:// link and opened it by Opera Mini. Quite troublesome.
