Problems with a knife dulling from ceramic plates while eating steaks?

Target sells 12 inch square Achadia (sp) wooden plates for 6 dollars. I have one for this purpose as we grill steaks at least once a week.

My steaks are usually so tender you can cut them with a fork, but on those rare occasions I need something sharper, I always reach for a good steak knife. Wusthof, Henkel, Boker or Shun work well and you can get four for under $70. Or, you can pop for some top of the line stuff around $90 per. I think William Henry has some in that range, as well. We were over at my sister's last Christmas and were blown away with her Wusthof 4-piece set.

Nope. here's a little pic.
