Off Topic Problems with paypal

CAN MODS MOVE THIS TO THE RIGHT FORUM? I don't know if this belongs here or not but here goes. Over the last week I've sold 8 knives on the exchange. I entered shipping info on paypal. My account is now frozen because I can't provide invoices from vendors for the merchandise I sold. I called 3 times and tried to explain to them that the stuff I sold is not stuff I made but things that I've bought over the years and am trying to get so money back. Luckily I was able to transfer all money to my bank account before they froze it. People on here sell stuff on the exchange what do you do?

Bad - Paypal 1099

So I just got a 1099 from Paypal for selling through Goods and Services. I was under the impression that would only happen to those who sell large amounts, like over $20K. I only sold about $800 worth of items. I'm kinda pissed, especially since it was mostly stuff I had bought previously...

Maybe a simple bill of sale would take care of the issue? This is the first I’ve heard of frozen accounts for invoicing. Perhaps in future (once unlocked) the seller (you) can use PayPal’s invoicing system to avoid this?

Never experienced this, but doesn't seem to be a new thing. 8 sales in a week may have triggered it.

No matter if it was a firearm or a knife, Big Brother's Eyes, you're selling a weapon on internet. Check again your transaction history, must someone mentioned "Knives".
