Problems with upgrading

Been trying to upgrade my membership from basic to Knifemaker. The application keeps getting rejected. The card is good. Surely you want my money! Are there problems I'm not aware of?

I go to the link at the top of the page "Upgrade your forums experience", choose the Knifemaker membership, fill in the form as directed, and get a light blue box with this in it: This transaction has been declined. (2) Just tried it again and got the same results.

The directions are simple enough even for this caveman, so I'm baffled as to why it won't go through.

I did send an email to the moderators through the contact page.

Just solved the problem. Used a different card. Something's haywire with the first one.
