I made a product, to sharpen a knife edge, that is similar to the Edge Pro, that costs $150 for the cheapest version. I have not decided on a price to sell these for yet, but when I do, I will buy a knifemaker membership ($40) and sell it in the knifemaker's supplies forums. I am thinking around $85 shipped, but it might be higher, or lower.

This is an edited thread, so I didn't start a brand new one. Here's the finished edge sanding product:

It has a storage compartment, for a sharpie, sandpaper etc.

The wheel can be upside-down for a larger angle.

Or can be very far down, for a shallow angle.

To use: hold the knife on the leather, against the stop block. sand the edge of the knife.

I'm going to buy supplies to make it today. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress.

I have the base almost finished today, and hopefully tomorrow, I will get the rest of the supplies, to get the base finished, and the sanding piece done. I hope that I can show off tomorrow :P

Well it's just about done. I have to wait for all of the glue to dry. I'll post more about it at about 9:00 pm EST (once the glue dries, and I have the final piece completed. How many of you think you might be interested in one of these, for under $100 dollars shipped? I'm still working out the price, but it should be around $85.

I'll post pictures at about 9.

Okay guys! Your wait is over! Check out the first post for the pictures! Let me know what you think.
