I made a product, to sharpen a knife edge, that is similar to the Edge Pro, that costs $150 for the cheapest version. I have not decided on a price to sell these for yet, but when I do, I will buy a knifemaker membership ($40) and sell it in the knifemaker's supplies forums. I am thinking around $85 shipped, but it might be higher, or lower.
This is an edited thread, so I didn't start a brand new one. Here's the finished edge sanding product:
It has a storage compartment, for a sharpie, sandpaper etc.
The wheel can be upside-down for a larger angle.
Or can be very far down, for a shallow angle.
To use: hold the knife on the leather, against the stop block. sand the edge of the knife.
