Product suggestion-folding Kerambit

Sal, no response from you yet on this subject. I'm a very patient person and I know that your are a very busy person. Any thoughts at all would be appreciated.

ummmmm... the kerambit.. very unique Indonesian edged tool! I have a coupla these made from vehicle spring steel.. They are beautiful especially its buffalo-horn handles..

It'll be interesting to observe Bram's tusok! :D Where I come from, the Kerambit is notorious for inflicting lethal wounds. Its a favourite assasin's tool.. ;)

Kayaker2: I'm sure Sal is not ignoring you..Carlos is the guy here these days and Poppa Spyder is very busy...I'm sure he'll drop in when he gets around to it..OK????
Liong: I'll see you in Eugene..
SAMO: the TUSOK is small n fast..instead of a hole I have the indexing point and spoon clip @ the center of the sweet spot, so it spins like a Kerambit..its made to work just like a Kerambit from forward right into reverse..its an up close and personal tool.
Leo..none of this is in the computer..I don't have a functioning scanner..
plus why not come on over, I'll let you take me to lunch one day ( gads what a hint!) and I'll show you..its not like you are far away...

THe Folding SPOT is very cool..The Folding Spot has the hole up by the blade making it not similar to a Filipino or Indonesian Kerambit..
its a type of Kerambit by shape and one can twirl wit the hole but not as we are used to..

be safe..

Bram

Sal is probably out of the country right now. I don't doubt that he will respond as soon as he is able.

Spyderco has a collaboration prototype with Laci Szabo for his folding UUK. They are showing it around to see what kind of interest it generates. If you do a search, you should find some partialy photos of the knife. Maybe Dexter could tell us more about this ones fate. He always seems to be able to get some inside info.

Anbody know if Sal accepts designs from members of the forum here? I have a folding Kerambit design that I drew up. It's diiferent from the others I've seen. It's even set up with the Spyderhole and Compression lock. If you know, let me know. Thanks.

Sal always struck me as a pretty accessible fellow. I could never pretend to speak for him, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to show him your design. Why don't you send him an email? That's what I'd do.

That's a Boston Terrier. His name is Rocky. My other one is named Sammo after the chubby little Kung-Fu guy from the Martial Law TV series.
