But here is my favorite, the new BK15. This looks like an awesome blade.

and here is the other side. True beauties. Thanks Ethan and Ka-Bar for some beautiful steel. Sheaths are badass, finish is beautiful, and design is amazing. I can't wait to put them to use and slap some micarta or G10 on them.

Those look real nice! You'll have to get some pics of them being used and tell us how they work out for ya.

Awesome! I really like the look of that BK15. I think that will be the first one I get with the new coating.

Thanks for the pics.

Im trying to be responsible here....put some money towards things other then knives...and threads like this aint helping!

on the other hand...I DO need a 17 and 15 to be able to make sheaths on them...so I could justify it that way LOL

WOW! They look soooooo much better without all that SMKW crap all over the blade!

I really want a BK15, it just made the short list... which really isn't that short.

Thanks for the pics.

The new coating and etching seems top notch. The 15 may make a run for my favorite becker of the week ;)

Now I really can't wait for my 15 to show up! I'm not as jumpy about the 16, since I have the FPR already, but it looks like my 16 will show up first. I pre-ordered the 15 at a shop that isn't showing any stock yet. Guess that didn't play out well.

I really like the finish of the new models. Seems very much like the ESEE finish. We will see how durable it is over the coming weeks.

Congrats, looks awesome. I really like that new finish. That 15 has been growing on me as well.

Nice, I have only one question, with the new laser etching, why didn't they bring the edge all the way back to the handle to give you more belly?

More than likely, the cost factor, plus more delay. They would have to make new dies, etc, to stamp it out differently. Notice the difference in the BK2 mock ups I did. I had to move the sharpening choil back:

Nice, I have a 16 coming. The more I look at the 15 the more I want one.
It's up to you but You might want to remove the address from the first pic. it shows your personal info.

Anyone dumb enough to mess with the POPOs address probably deserves what would happen to them.

To late! :D Now I know where to stalk the big brown trucks! Oh, wait, never mind, I might as well go all the way up to Olean and get a bigger catch. To bad I don't have a car...
