We are soon to have the production Bushfingers ready to be released into the wild. To spice things up we're starting a contest - Sign up here and we'll be passing one around for you to put through its paces. Do some kind of bushcraft project, document it, post it up here and you're entered in. We'll do a drawing after 12 weeks and the winner gets a free bushfinger from us (custom bf, not a production one).

Requirements - you get the knife for 1 (one!) week. After that send it on to the next guy. Please note - Be sure you can abide by the time constraint of 1 week. We want to keep the knife moving and wrap the contest up in approx. 3 months. You are responsible for shipping to the next contestant, or if it needs to come back to the shop for sharpening.

Thurin is 1st on the list as it was an idea of his that lead to the contest.

Let's consider this the official Pass Around thread for after the contest wraps up.

Thanks,
Ken

Cool! Count me in if that's alright, I would love to give one of these a test drive.

I'd sure like to give the new production knife a whirl. There's a lot of cutting needs done around my place outside leather.
Thanks!

I'd be glad to give it a go, but am also happy to wait until the next opportunity if it opens up a slot for someone else.

I would like to be in - and I will make some pants for it if it does not have any. If it does not have a sheath at this point - and you don't mind - send it to me first and I will add pants for the rest of the participants.

Thanks,

TF

If I count correctly, it looks like there's still room in the group so count me in! I'd love to see the production knife and compare it with the customs.

Pretty sure they have JRE producing sheaths for the Mid-Techs ..

I am not in Ken because it is too darn cold outside and I am too darn busy with work. I am afraid that I would not be able to turn it around in time. But, it is a great idea and I wish I could join in. Sounds like good fun!

I just started looking into doing the Bushclass, so I love to give it a go if there is still a spot open.
