I just took a look at the potential time frame for when the knife would get around to me and looks like that will be a really busy time. Rather than take the chance of not, time wise, being able to do it justice, I'd like to pass my spot on to Vayu. Sorry for creating extra work. Have fun guys!

Talfuchre, thank you for the offer to make a sheath. Please feel free to do so when she arrives in your hands. Once we get the knife back after all is said and done we'll do something special with it - maybe auction it off in support of Ben or something like that.

Thank you everyone for the opportunity. I will do something special with the blade so that all community members may experience the Bushfinger vicariously. A good show of sportsmanship and class is the norm here, as evidenced by this thread, and that is no small feat in the internet of things.

Are you guys willing to share what kind of steel you'll be using for the production model? Sorry if I missed it somewhere...

I hope the Pass Around model is in natural canvas micarta so I can compare it with the black canvas model I just scored!
