John:
Thanks you did a great job.

Well guys here it is,time for some feedback good or bad,the only way to improve is to listen to and learn from the people who best know what they want and like and is why I started this here.

For those interested I will start taking orders, E-Mail me for details.

Many thanks to John Hollister for all of his help in getting the pictures up.

Question for ya'. Are the three screws in the bolster really neccesary? Could the pivot screw be used and the scales dovetailed to hold the bolster in place?

Barring that, could the bolster be secured with screws from the underside, through the liner, giving the bolster a cleaner look. Just a thought.

Love the look, great job!

One more tiny detail, where is the pocket clip?

The pictures will be mailed back to you on Monday. By the way, great job on the photos. I'll include a disk with the jpegs so you can send them to folks.

Take care

John

John:
As for your first 2 questions I have seen the bolsters secured with the pivot and 1 screw near the back of the bolster and I can do that,on this one it is just how I envisioned the first one to look like.
As for securing the bolsters from the liner side, good question I will have to play around with that one, thanks for the input though now I will be up all night.

I left the pocket clip off so as not to disrupt the natural lines of the knife itself, I knew it was going to be photographed and wanted people to see past it.
I'ts no problem to add it later if I decide to.

Thanks again John,

Kevin

The Benchmade you see in the pictures is my next project,as soon as the carbon fiber arrives, also I will try to secure the bolsters from the liner side as John suggested, other changes will be a rounded thumb notch in the titanium for easy access to the thumb disk and liner lock, and scales will be secured by hex head screws.

Are there any other suggestions as to what you guys would like to see?
